Intent Definition
Before a single ingredient is considered, we define the atmospheric purpose. What emotional state should this fragrance support? What type of space will it inhabit? What experience should it create?

Structural Design
With intent defined, we design the fragrance architecture—the structural framework that determines how the scent unfolds over time and space.

- Temporal Balance: How quickly or slowly the scent evolves
Unlike personal fragrance (designed for skin chemistry), ambient fragrance must perform consistently in air—without body heat acceleration or individual chemistry interaction.

Ingredient Selection
Ingredients are selected based on three criteria: olfactory contribution, diffusion compatibility, and safety profile.

- Olfactory Contribution: Does this ingredient serve the atmospheric intent?
- Diffusion Behavior: How does this ingredient perform in cold-air atomization?
- Material Compatibility: Will it interact safely with ELIXIR 3X components?

Some ingredients that work beautifully in personal fragrance perform poorly in ambient diffusion—they may clog atomizers, degrade under pressure, or lose character when dispersed.

Prototype Formulation
Initial formulations are created in small batches for evaluation. This stage involves multiple iterations—sometimes dozens—before a candidate emerges.
